The Propaganda of Fear

The author, Martin Grow, is a native of the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. In his book of poetry, he shares with the reader many aspects of his personal life experiences. The Propaganda of Fear is an honest yet artistic look at race, perception and the fears of one African American man in America. This thought provoking body of work has a theme of growth and inspiration, although the author describes a culture on the brink of self destruction. This is a powerful look at the desperate condition of urban Black American culture and the authors desire for positive change.
